GEL fully recognizes and assumes its responsibility towards the safety of its employees and to others affected by the results of its undertakings as ad visors and designers. It is also the policy of GEL to protect the environment and to minimize all negative impacts on the environment and work towards sustainable development. GEL considers these policies to be a management responsibility equal to any other function.
The management of GEL provides the necessary information, training and supervision to ensure, as reasonably as possible, the health and safety of all employees to work and ensure an intact environment.
It is equally the duty of individual employees at all levels to exercise responsibility, to ensure health and safety protocols and to avoid negative influence on the environment as much as possible. Accordingly, employees at all levels must constantly consider the possible effects of their actions upon themselves and others.
Employees are reminded of their obligations under the relevant legislation.
